Description

I noticed a few tickets for Sierra cellular support. The kernel has a driver for these cards starting with 2.6.18 I believe. Aptly named sierra (found in Device Drivers -> USB Support -> USB Serial Adapters). I compiled the driver for it on a different box and copied it to the pyramid device. modprobe does not work with my module, but insmod does. I added the insmod command to /etc/init.d/cellular-modules, and it loads, recognizes, and dials the Sierra 595 fine.

I think a lot of these tickets could be solved with an updated kernel that includes the sierra driver.
